Hope Island Senior Physiotherapist
Luke graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University. Having worked in the Hope Island Physiotherapy space for over 4 years, Luke has now treated over 1000 members of the local community. Luke understands that we can't necessarily change how long we spend in front of the computer for work, or push back the deadline for a job on the tools - what he can chance is the way it makes you feel.
Luke has a particular interest in chronic pain, long standing conditions of the Neck/Shoulder and Hip pain. Although equipped to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, Luke's passion lies in the youth sport and athlete development space. Despite his background being in AFL (both as a player and health professional), Luke has worked with a variety of tennis, rugby union, gymnastics and golf athletes. His major goal is to bridge the gap between rehab and performance- with treatment aimed to allow athletes to peak at their utmost potential.
When not treating patients, Luke enjoys a strong coffee, 18 holes on the golf course and cheering on his beloved Essendon.
